I Am The Way

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

John 14 starts with Jesus talking about Heaven.  He is encouraging His disciples in a time... before He is crucified...before they will be very discouraged by His death. So Jesus says that He and His Father (God) have a room reserved for them in Heaven....in His House.  Wow...that would be encouraging....if you realized what Jesus was saying.

So how do you get to God's House? Can you point me to the road that leads to God's house.  Everybody needs to know the way there.  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.  So Jesus is the way??? But is He not Mary's kid? Jesus is saying He is the way....but more than just a way to God.  He is the only road to God.   "No one comes to the Father except through me."
Next time you hear someone on TV say there are many ways to God...remember the truth...Jesus is the only way.
