Even the Winds and the Waves Obey Him

The disciples did not bargain on a furious storm at sea when they got in the boat to follow Jesus.

Many times we don't count the cost of following Jesus, either.

The waves were sweeping over the boat and they were in fear of drowning....and they called on Jesus.Why did He rebuke them with, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Did they not realize that He was the Christ...the Son of God?

After Jesus completely calmed the storm...they declared, "Even the Wind and Waves Obey Him."If you had been in the boat...would Jesus actions have convinced you that He was the Son of God?  Would the escape from the powerful storm increase your faith?  Jesus will take care of us when we follow Him.
