Week 1- Week 26

Stop Doubting and Believe

In Chapter 20..John tells his account of Jesus appearing to several people after His crucifixion.

This is the reason we Christians celebrate.  Jesus conquered death.  The grave could not hold Him. He is not a dead prophet.  He lives. He is who He said He was... He is God's Son.

John reports Jesus words to Thomas“Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Then to close this section of his gospel account John testifies, "Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

The Holy Spirit continues to speak to persons through John's eye-witness account.  He was there with Jesus and told what He saw and experienced. Only God knows how many have believed through the ages from John's testimony.
